A Nigerian man has caused a stir on social media after he bought a fake mobile phone ‘Infinix Hot 10’ without display or charging port at Computer Village in Ikeja.
In an accompanying video with the caption, “Fear Ikeja people,” the man showed off what is said to be an Infinix Hot 10, revealing what it looks like.
As his voice echoed in the background, he opened the back of the phone to find that neither the control panel nor the charging port were working, just the battery connected to the case and empty.
He showed the front of the phone covered with paper to give the impression of a real device, but it was actually a fake.
